Job Description:
BP, a leader in the global energy industry, is seeking an
Indirect Area Sales Manager to join our innovative Sales & Business
Development team. This role is pivotal in driving the expansion of
BPs market reach, particularly in the renewable energies sector,
while maintaining our stronghold in oil and gas. The Indirect Area
Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities
through channel partners, enhancing partner relationships, and
achieving sales targets in assigned territories. This position
offers the opportunity to play a key role in BP's transition
towards more sustainable energy solutions while ensuring
profitability and market competitiveness. Develop and execute
strategic plans to meet sales targets across assigned geographic
areas through indirect channels. Cultivate strong, productive
relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners to ensure
alignment with BP’s goals and strategies. Identify new business
opportunities and work with partners to develop market penetration
strategies. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust
strategies accordingly. Train and support channel partners to
effectively sell and promote BP’s diverse energy solutions.
Coordinate with various internal teams, including marketing and
product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to market.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
across all activities. Proven ability to manage and motivate
channel partners and stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking and
negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to analyze market trends and financial data.
Knowledge of the energy sector, particularly in renewables and oil
