*Pay Rate: $59-$66/hr*
*Shift: *Days (3\*12)
*Start Date: *Two weeks from the date of position offered.
*Job Type: *13 weeks contract

*Job Summary*

The EEG Technician position involves conducting diagnostic evaluations on patients in a medical setting, particularly in Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. The role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

*Responsibilities*
* Perform electroencephalograms (EEGs) on patients.
* Monitor and record vital signs during EEG procedures.
* Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate test results.
* Utilize knowledge of emergency medicine to respond effectively in urgent situations.
* Conduct EEGs in various settings, including CT scans.

*Experience*
* Prior experience working in a medical facility or similar setting is preferred.
* Proficiency in anatomy and physiology knowledge.
* Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
* Ability to provide compassionate patient care during EEG procedures.

*Requirements*
* Minimum *one year experience* required.
* Active *BLS required*.
* Active Board of Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) (Or) The Certified EEG Technician (CET) registry is required.
