position is responsible for the care, removal and transport of
human remains in accordance with all state, local and company
policies and procedures.Essential FunctionsResponsible for the
transporting of the deceased from hospital, nursing home,
residence, prep rooms or embalming facilities to the mortuary or
funeral home.Maintains the transport vehicle is well maintained by
being responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness inside/out
and adequate supply of Personal Protective Equipment is available
in the vehicle.Performs duties with strict adherence to Edification
Policies/Procedures.Other duties as assigned.Competencies

Management.Required Education, Experience, Certifications and
LicensureHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Valid state issued
driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

market share through community involvement.Creativity when dealing
with client familiesAble to read, write and speak English fluently.
Bilingual is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook,

effectively with internal, as well as external customers, community
leaders, and grieving client families.Ability to empathize with
client families and their guests and demonstrate tact and patience
in emotionally charged situations.Tactful and professional when
dealing with complaints or dissatisfaction with services or

setting.Outdoor duties may require exposure to natural elements

fax, copier, merchant terminal, multi-line phone system, personal
or company owned vehicle.Employees in this role are regularly
required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift up
to 150 pounds and may be required to lift up to 100 pounds.This
position may also require reaching, pushing, and pulling.This
position may also be exposed to chemicals and/ or blood borne
pathogens. Exposure risk is considered: LowOvertime is sometimes
necessary or required. TravelThis position does not require out of
state or overnight travel.Travel is primarily local occurring
