The Long-Term Care RN Manager will report to and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure the department is providing optimal patient care. The Manager will be supported by a Nurse Supervisor and several Charge RN’s who will ensure patients are receiving the care they need and the department is performing successfully. This Nurse leader must also communicate daily with dietary and support staff to assure smooth coordination of care for all patients. 

As the Manager of Long- Term Care, this Nurse leader will oversee the department’s day-to-day operations in order to maintain the standards of patient care. The Manager will have the opportunity to manage both the Clinical and Administrative duties of the department. The Manager will advise staff and other administrators in matters related to nursing and communicate with patients to ensure patient satisfaction. For administrative duties, the Nurse Manager will assist in establishing and implementing policies, developing standards of performance, and managing the fiscal budget for the department’s success.
