? Assists in simple food preparation.
? Properly wraps, dates, and stores food.
? Properly uses a thermometer while cooking, serving and storing
? Uses proper lifting and transfer techniques for food and kitchen
? Completes daily temperature charts.
? Follow HACCP guidelines as they relate to preparation, serving,
and storing food.
? Communicates with fellow associates and supervisors in regard to
shortages and quality of inventory.
? Performs daily cleaning tasks as assigned and cosigns with

? Speaks only English while in areas where patient care is
delivered and in public areas or whenever patients or apparent
family members/friends are present of within hearing range unless
patient care requires the use of another language.
? Assembles salads, deserts, and prepared foods.
? Makes sandwiches from pre-sliced meats and prepared spreads.
? Washes, cuts, and prepares fruits and vegetables.
? Makes beverages, fountain, and ice cream items or other drinks
and tubefeedings according to directions.
? Sets up tray line according to standards.
? Reads individual patient menus and places appropriate items on

? Changes CO2 and soda canisters and cleans area.
? Follows proper drying procedures assuring a dry work
