Operators will greet and assist retail customers in purchasing
non-ferrous scrap metal creating a positive customer
outside work and work in non-climate controlled environments year
Operators will accurately grading material and input transaction
Operators will operate small material handling equipment as
necessary to move materials for processing
- Assist and
direct customers to proper location to unload
- Inspect for
existence of flammable, radioactive, hazardous and/or leaded
Operators will inspect materials for liquids, non-metallic and all
other posted or non-posted materials that are non-acceptable (i.e.
propane tanks, PCP's, batteries, etc.)
- Ensure that
any materials not allowed are not left on Company
Operators will also remove and properly store any items or material
duties involving physical handling of materials, supplies,

- High school diploma or GED, computer and verbal communication
- Workweek; M-F 7:30am to 4:30pm and rotating Saturdays 7:45am to
- 1-year experience of general labor in an industrial /outdoor
- Customer service to public or vendors preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to
effectively communicate with customers.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more as required.
- Must wear all necessary PPE while working or while in the

- Knowledge of scrap materials a plus.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with others and be part of the team.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
