appropriate party, announces appropriate overhead pages to staff.
Initiates telephone referrals to the appropriate person or
department. Makes announcements as outlined in the Emergency
Response / Fire / Disaster plans for Aspen Valley Hospital.
Collects daily discharges and performs HIM operational record
processes to facilitate timely readiness for coding, to include
assembly/analysis (assignment of deficiencies), final analysis
(clearing of deficiencies), loose material filing, transcription
download and report distribution, MPI consolidation or information
processing, in keeping with Best Practice HIM protocols. RM&P
Specialist is responsible for workflow efficiency and complying
with industry standards of chart management, content and
authentication. Proficiency in the operation of standard office
equipment including computers, knowledge of software, reader
printers, copiers, fax machines, telephones and pagers is required.
Prepares and scans records as assigned. Manages electronic medical
record with accuracy and timeliness.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Displays courtesy and efficiency in promptly answering and

Responds to emergency response situations promptly and
efficiently to ensure all communication procedures are executed as
