Job Description:

PositionSummary: Provide clerical and administrative support to theHuman Resources department and employees for the purpose of supporting thebusiness initiatives, enhancing performance and gaining a return oninvestment. Essential Duties &Responsibilities:HR Functional Support:Provides administrative support for a specific HRfunction such as recruiting, HRIS or other functional areas. Duties include but are not limited to pullingdata from systems such as pulling applications from the recruiting system andmoving the applicant through a well-defined recruiting process; updating orinputting certain data into HRIS; preparing new hire packets or other employeeinformation.Serves as first line of contact for HR related inquiries, answeringbasic questions, and referring other questions to HR Generalist or Manager. Tracks and logs incoming HR related data such as FMLA, LOAand coordinates and maintains all HR files.Participates in HR investigations as requested and acts ascontact for HR related questions.Distributes reminders of upcoming performance reviewdeadlines.Orders supplies and providesreplacement badges/proxy cards as needed.Processes I-9 forms.Conducts new hire orientation.GeneralAdministration: Prepares all administrative letters,correspondence and documents; and performs other administrative duties toinclude filing, faxing and photocopying to support the HR Department. Provides data or prepare reports to supportvendors or call center operations.Examples include but are not limited to providing data to the vendor whosupports our unemployment processes; or pulling reports from internal systemsfor operations.Performs miscellaneous HR duties such as: updating HR bulletinboards, managing site shipments, handling paycheck/pay stubs and assisting withbenefits administration. Runs reports, formats and presents information to higherlevels of HR management.Greets and assists visitors who come into the HR department. Ensures visitors are directed to the correct resourceif necessary. Tracks visitor and contractor badges/proxy cards, and answersphones, takes messages and transfers calls as appropriate.Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of files located in HRwhich include but are not limited to: personnel files; medical, I-9 and jobfiles.May perform otherrelated duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:1-2 years of call centerexperience or HR experience Educationand/or formal training:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experiencerequired. Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:Fluentin verbal and written English.Able to multi-task,have demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills andtime management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed inan accurate and timely manner.Ability to workeffectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment. Ability to maintainhigh level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data andinformation.Solidcommunication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management,staff and/or outside contacts.Demonstratedinterpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain aprofessional and positive manner.Effectivelistening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions andeffectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management.Familiarity a varietyof office equipment, standard software packages and application and use ofpersonal computers to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.Musthave basic math, reading and writing skills to be able to count, readinstructions and document necessary paperwork.Travel may be requiredto attend work related meetings and training sessions. May be required to work a flexibleschedule that provides needed coverage for customer service levels and/ortime-sensitive projects. Incumbentmust be able to support operations which are opened weekends and evenings. All employees must be willing to work allshifts, overtime, holidays and emergency shifts as required.Ableto maintain a regular work schedule to meet the needs of the business.Required to read andfollow all company policies and procedures.Support and model thecompany values.
