Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites dedicated and skilled
healthcare professionals to apply for the role of Registered Nurse
in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As part of a leading

advanced environment. Our ICU nurses are critical in managing the
care of patients with life-threatening conditions, relying on a
comprehensive approach that integrates the latest in medical

services. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to
patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
using computerized documentation systems. Assess, plan, implement
and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the
healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed and monitor responses. Advocate for patients’ and
families’ needs, or provide emotional support for both patients and
their families. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Promote
patient's independence by establishing patient care goals and
teaching patients and families to understand conditions,
medications, and self-care skills. Strong clinical skills with a
focus on critical care, cardiac care, and life support. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with
patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work
effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficient
in using healthcare software for patient management. Medical

Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Utah or eligible
for reciprocity. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from an
accredited program. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
