Speech Language Pathology Assistant Location: Grand Junction, CO Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $45 to $64 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Permanent (Full Time) Currently offering a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus Pay Rate: $89,000.00 to $102,000.00/Yearly. Summary: A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) works under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the assessment and treatment of individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. The SLPA helps implement therapy plans, document progress, and assist patients in improving communication skills. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for children and adults ages birth to 21. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results. Provide speech and language therapy services in one-on-one or group settings. Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment. Maintain detailed patient records and document progress. Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development. Requirements Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Colorado state licensure (or eligibility for licensure). Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply – CF supervisor will be on-site. Experience working with pediatric populations preferred. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy. BLS Certification.
