Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare seeks a skilled and dedicated
Registered Charge Nurse to lead our Medical Surgical unit. This
position plays a crucial role in managing nursing activities,
ensuring high-quality patient care, and upholding our commitment to

collaborate closely with medical professionals to enhance patient

fast-paced environment. Oversee the daily operations of the Medical
Surgical unit, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations
and standards. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing
educational opportunities and performance feedback. Coordinate with
physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement,
and evaluate patient care plans. Manage patient care, including
monitoring patient status and facilitating effective communication
among care teams. Participate in the development and implementation
of departmental policies and procedures. Ensure optimal utilization
of resources to provide high-quality and cost-effective care.
Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Proficient in clinical and patient care
management Ability to manage a team in a high-stress, fast-paced
environment Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation
standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Utah Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
