Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Shift: Variable Shifts | Weekend Coverage May Be Required /n/nWork Experience:/n /n/t - Maintain and distribute designated supplies to assigned areas. /n/t - Ensure all equipment and instruments are available and ready for each surgical case. /n/t - Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments in accordance with AMMI recommended practices. /n/t - Complete and verify accuracy of instrument count sheets. /n/t - Minimum of one year of recent Sterile Processing experience required. /n /n/n/nEducation: /nHigh school diploma or equivalent /n/n /n/nLicense: /nSPT/n/n /n/nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification.
