Job Description Job Description Ultrasound Technologist Location: Grand Junction, CO Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview Community Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures focused on women’s care. This role combines clinical expertise with administrative responsibilities to ensure high-quality imaging services and exceptional patient care. Enjoy a work-life balance schedule with no nights or weekends in a supportive community hospital setting. Schedule Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM No nights or weekends Compensation $38.00 – $43.00 per hour (based on education and experience) Eligible for discretionary bonuses, relocation assistance, merit increases, and market adjustments based on performance. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with provider orders and departmental standards. Ensure all ultrasound equipment is powered on and fully operational prior to procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment after each patient. Clean and disinfect all ultrasound equipment and related tools after each use. Communicate exam results to referring physicians as directed. Manage follow-up for STAT results and patients awaiting reports. Accurately transfer images, documentation, and patient data to Virtual Radiology for after-hours cases.
