Job Description:
Stellar Living, a distinguished provider in senior living
services across multiple states, is seeking a Director of Memory
Care to lead our specialized memory care unit. This role is pivotal
in providing compassionate and clinical oversight to residents
suffering from memory-related conditions. Our aim is to enhance
lives and nurture community spirit through dedicated,
individualized care. As Director of Memory Care, you will oversee
all aspects of our memory care operations, ensuring adherence to
clinical guidelines and enhancing the overall quality of life for
our residents. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of
high-quality memory care services while fostering a compassionate
environment for residents, families, and staff. Develop and
implement comprehensive care plans tailored for memory care
residents. Lead, train, and manage memory care staff to ensure
quality care and compliance with state regulations and company
policies. Monitor and adjust care practices to meet the evolving
needs of residents. Engage with families to provide updates and
address concerns related to resident care. Oversee the budget,
staffing, and overall operations of the memory care unit. Implement
evidence-based practices aimed at improving resident outcomes and
enhancing quality of life. Regularly assess staff performance and
provide guidance and development opportunities. Strong leadership
and managerial skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Deep knowledge of dementia and other memory-related
conditions. Ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
Proficiency in regulatory compliance and healthcare management.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified
Dementia Practitioner (CDP) recommended. Licensed Registered Nurse
(RN) in the state of employment.
