Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (ER RN) Start Date: December 1, 2025 End Date: March 2, 2026 Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract Shift: 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed hours Setting: Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department Registered Nurse Qualifications Active, unencumbered Utah RN license or compact state nursing license Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in emergency room or med/surg settings Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and autonomous decision-making skills Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs independently; more with assistance Ability to maintain confidentiality and composure in high-pressure situations ER Nurse Responsibilities Perform triage and primary nursing care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Initiate EKGs, start IVs, draw labs, administer medications, and provide comfort measures Implement infection control and patient safety protocols in the emergency department Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and work independently as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate reliability in all aspects of emergency nursing care Adapt to additional duties as assigned in the ER setting Apply now to join our Moab, Utah healthcare team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) on this rewarding travel nursing assignment.
