HEALTH AND WELLNESS DIRECTOR LPN$ 60,000 per year salaryThis position is a Licensed nurse who shall help redefine licensed residential care for persons living with Dementia/Alzheimer's.Must be committed to working with the elderly- be flexible, energetic, capable of managing people, providing care and professionalism in all work related situations.- Must be detail oriented. Demonstrate in an ongoing basis the ability to work with others and assume a leadership role.The Health and Wellness Director is responsible for the supervision of and attention to each resident's health needs. - As such you'll ensure our residents receive the optimum care via the overall implementation, delivery and coordination of resident care services at the community.We realize that our employees are what makes a difference in what we do. We are all part of a team and have great pride in serving our elders and supporting everyone in Living Life Well. -Duties/Responsibilities:Supervise and schedule the care staff according to our policies, procedures and standards.Establish and maintain a medication system which adheres to state law and companyregulations and guidelines. EMR system used is Yardi.Perform assessments and reassessments to determine resident needs and establish appropriate service plans are designed and implemented.Operate the Health and Wellness Department within established budget.Act as the primary contact for issues related to resident care within the professional medical community.Assist with the administration of medications as allowed per state specific guidelines - when required.Provide activities of daily living assistance to the residents- -as needed.Communicate to residents, families, department heads, staff and Executive Director in an effective, tactful and respectful manner.Support hospitality and sales process and promotion of a positive culture of care.Requirements/ Qualifications: Licensed LPNin good standing with state licensing authoritiesMinimum of two (2) years' experience in the Assisted Living industry ideally working with persons with Memory Impairment - not required.Previous oversight and management experience.Knowledge of Colorado State regulations.Knowledge about Dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's/Lewy BodyMust be able to lift 40 lbs. or less on a regular basisMust be able to stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to develop or work with systems and programs for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care -YARDI.Ability to design service plans for residentsWorking knowledge of computer systems, databases, E-Mar systems and Microsoft Office suite of productsValid driver's license and good driving record.Covid-19 Vaccination + Booster required.Supervisory Responsibilities: -Supervise care staff in the performance of their dutiesAct as Director on Duty or as designated Administrator - when assigned
