*Job Title:* Director of Nursing Emergency Department & Short Stay Observation Unit*Location:* Grand Junction, CO 81505*Employment Type:* 26-Week Contract*Schedule:* 40 Guaranteed Hours/Week*Pay Rate:* $80.05 - $85.03 per hour*Key Responsibilities:** Provide strategic and operational oversight for the ED and SSOU.* Lead, mentor, and support interdisciplinary clinical teams.* Ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care delivery.* Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and support departments to meet clinical and operational goals.*Qualifications:** *Bachelors degree* in Nursing or a related healthcare field required; *Masters degree preferred*.* *Active RN license* in the State of Colorado or eligibility for licensure.* Minimum of *5 years of progressive leadership* experience in emergency or acute care, including *3+ years in a leadership role*.* *ACLS and PALS certifications required*.* *Preferred certifications*: Nurse Executive Board Certification (NEBC), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), or equivalent.RN01Job Type: ContractPay: $80.05 - $85.03 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceAbility to Commute:* Grand Junction, CO 81505 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Grand Junction, CO 81505: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
