ICVS consists of three product lines: National Controls Corporation (NCC), Vehicular Instrumentation Systems (VIS), and Motec Heavy-Duty Camera Solutions. NCC specializes in electronic controls for commercial kitchens and industrial facilities. VIS provides global solutions for rugged instrumentation, driver information displays, graphics displays and message centers for On and Off-road heavy vehicles. Motec focuses on the development and manufacture of customized analog and digital camera monitoring systems for commercial vehicles and mobile machines. This position can be based in Grand Junction, Colorado or Warrenville, Illinois. The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous products under development according to the Stage-Gated process from program inception through volume production. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute project plans that ensure assigned projects are completed on time, on budget, and according to the agreed specificationsDocument and present detailed estimates of cost, time, and capability to internal and external project stakeholdersGuide Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representativesTrack project schedules, budgets and deliverables against goals, reporting status to project team, supervisor, and business unit leadership on a regular basisDevelop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualitiesCoordinate with customers, through Marketing and Sales, to provide necessary program status and obtain customer feedbackWork closely with the operations and engineering teams to support ongoing life-cycle management of existing productsProvide feedback regarding employee performance on a program team to the functional manager for documentationRecommend new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time deliveryRecommend and steer efforts to improve existing processes to improve quality or on-time delivery Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience or certifications, in a technical, business, or financial discipline5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing company, focused on high-technology products2-5 years of project management experienceExperience with financial analyses, such as cost estimations, profit margin analysis, and return on investment (ROI) calculationsExperience with manufacturing operations, such as scheduling, procurement, manufacturing/assembly, test engineering, and quality systems Desired Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of project management techniques and disciplines, with PMP Certification preferredExperience in Development Engineering or Operations preferredAbility to manage projects within a matrix organizationDemonstrated attention to detail, especially the ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas to draw conclusions on project/product readiness and provide meaningful feedback to project stake holders on project risksSelf-assured with strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skillsMotivated to take action, with the ability to hold oneself and others accountable to deliverables The annual pay range for this position generally ranges between $90,000 - $120,000. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
