Job Description Job Description Salary: $18.60 - $28.00 Role
Assist members with a wide variety of services and advise as to how
best utilize company products and services in order to meet
personal financial goals and provide the highest quality customer
service. Major Duties and Responsibilities With a good
understanding of the bank products/services and the members current
relationship, offers information on products and services that can
benefit the member and enhance their credit union relationship.
Evaluates needs of potential members and offers appropriate
financial products and services. Open various new accounts, process
necessary information and educate the members as to
services/products available as a result. (For example, Visa check
card, online banking, automated teller, etc.) Under the supervision
of the Branch Manager, receives and screens both mortgage and
consumer loan applications. Conducts the loan interview and secures
the customer information necessary to initiate a loan transaction.
Qualifies, structures and ensures that each approved application
meets the credit unions lending standards. Reviews loan documents,
closes, and funds loans in an accurate and timely manner. Assist
with wide variety of customer services including open/close Shared
Certificates, maintain Safe Deposit Boxes, assist members with
checkbooks, process credit card/loan applications for members,
manages outgoing wires, solve fraud issues, notary, close accounts,
etc. Assist members with opening CDs and educate members as to
penalties, earnings, etc. Explain and expedite the opening,
closing, transfer, and rollover ofIRAcertificates. Set up auto
transfers and sign up customers forACHtransfers and wires. Use
every member contact as an opportunity to advise members about
additional services or programs that might benefit them. Must
comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws
and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy
Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Education High school degree or GED required. Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside
the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes
of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or
referring, which commonly require shorter discussions. Hours
9:00am-5:30pm with 30 minute lunch Benefits
